A perception of accomplishment is an important element in any developing organization. Many individuals believe that immensity off accomplishment is measured by the impediment one has to overcome to achieve it.

FootPrints is a three-day national level technical event held at the Faculty of Technology and Engineering, the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Vadodara, Gujarat. Beginning with just 30 participants in 2001, today we have over 35000 participations in year 2022-which itself is an accomplishment.

UNESCO

FootPrints, over the years, has made efforts on the grassroot level with an aim of creating a better society. Recognizing these sustained efforts, FootPrints has been awarded the highest level of support to any non-profitable organization by UNESCO, albeit a rare deed! With the perpetual support of UNESCO, FootPrints will continue to enrich the nurturing minds of probationers.

MAKE IN INDIA AND SKILL INDIA

Advancing in its way to create a rostrum for the youth to compete beyond technology, FootPrints has always won credence of many. Due to its unfailing efforts and concerns, Footprints has received patronage from MAKE IN INDIA and SKILL INDIA.

SAYEN AND CEE

With a wide spectrum of ideas and consistent efforts, FootPrints succeeded in bringing the young enthusiastic minds together to create a better society. For the first time in the history of FootPrints, it has been awarded the patronage of South Asia Youth Environment Network (SAYEN) and Centre for Environment Education (CEE).

WORLD’S LARGEST PAPER BAG

Under the segment of FootPrints Social Responsibility, the students attempted a world record for making the world’s largest paper bag on January 12^th,2014 under their "SAY NO TO PLASTIC” campaign. The students successfully made a bag which measured 18.55 meters high, 11.33 meters wide and 2.94 meters deep and has been acknowledged by the LIMCA BOOK OF RECORDS and GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS. The main motive behind breaking the record was to spread awareness among the commoners to minimalize the use of plastic bags and opt for the more environment friendly paper bags.

APPRECIATION FROM CHIEF MINISTER

Appreciation letter received (twice) from former Chief Minister of Gujarat for not only enhancing engagement in engineering but also being involved in social activities like blood donation, adopted villages, medical camps, eye-check-up camps etc. and organizing a national level technical event called FootPrints.

YOUNG CONTRIBUTOR SUMMIT

Team FootPrints was awarded by the YOUNG CONTRIBUTORS AWARD 2018 for the never-ending efforts they have put for the betterment of the Society and community around them.

The incentive or purpose that individuals have for succeeding a given task lead to great personal growth, productivity, and profitability.

With regard to academic motivation, various conceptualization has thus far been developed that offer different approaches to this phenomenon, management, leadership, decision making and maintaining a healthy workspace.
